Giving back and paying it forward!

Here at North Star Henna, we acknowledge that we have no direct ties to the cultures, peoples, places, and heritage from which the diverse henna traditions of the world have descended to the modern day. In seeking to stay on the right side of appreciation vs. appropriation, one of the ways in which we give thanks to those cultures and peoples and places is by offering support in ways that we’re able. One of them is putting a portion of all proceeds (in $25 increments, or by “topping up” to the next $25 increment) into microlending through the Kiva.org platform.
